Based in Wigan and looking for somewhere safe and welcoming to board your dog? Qualco Kennels is about 12 miles away in Lathom, near Ormskirk. The drive takes around 20 minutes, mostly along the M58 motorway, making it a quick and easy trip. You can hop on at junction 26 of the M6 and be with us in no time.
We regularly welcome dogs from Wigan, Standish, Shevington and the surrounding area. Over the years, we've built a loyal following of dog owners from across the Wigan borough who trust us to look after their pets when they're away.
Qualco has been in the same family since 1965. That's over 60 years of experience looking after dogs, and it shows. We know that every dog is different, and we take the time to make sure each one feels settled and relaxed during their stay. Our kennels are clean, secure, and each dog has their own individual run so they have their own space.
We're especially well set up for small to medium-sized breeds, and daily walks are included as standard. Your dog gets fresh air, exercise and plenty of attention from our experienced team. All breeds are welcome, and we're happy to cater for any specific requirements your dog might have.
We're open every day of the week, so you can work your drop-off and collection around your travel plans. Monday to Saturday, our hours are 9am to 12:30pm and 3pm to 5pm. On Sundays, we open from 10am. Want to see where your dog will be staying? Just call ahead and we'll arrange a visit.
Plenty of dog owners from Wigan and the surrounding towns choose Qualco. We also regularly look after dogs from Skelmersdale, Ormskirk, Chorley, St Helens and Leigh. Our location in Lathom puts us within easy reach of much of Lancashire and Greater Manchester.
