Qualco Kennels and Cattery is a family-run business based on Blythe Lane in Lathom, near Ormskirk. We provide safe, loving care for dogs and cats while their owners are away on holiday, taking a break, or simply need a helping hand. Whether it's a weekend away or a fortnight in the sun, you can relax knowing your pet is comfortable, happy and well looked after.

The Qualco Story

Qualco Kennels and Cattery started life in 1965 as a small family venture on the same site we call home today. What began with just a handful of kennels has grown over six decades into one of the most trusted places for pet boarding in Ormskirk and the surrounding villages.

The secret? There isn't one, really. We just love animals and always have. From day one, the same simple values have been at the heart of everything we do: treat every pet as if they were our own, keep things clean and comfortable, and never cut corners on care.

Over the years, we've looked after thousands of dogs and cats from Ormskirk, Lathom, Parbold, Newburgh, Burscough and beyond. Many of our customers have been coming back for generations, and some of the pets we care for today belong to families who first brought their animals to us decades ago.
