If you're looking for a friendly, reliable kennels near Southport, Qualco Kennels is just a short drive away. We're based on Blythe Lane in Lathom, about 15 miles from Southport town centre. The journey takes around 25 minutes along the A570, heading through Scarisbrick and on towards Ormskirk. It's a straightforward route with no motorways to worry about.

We regularly welcome dogs from Southport, Birkdale, Ainsdale and the surrounding area. Many of our Southport customers have been bringing their dogs to us for years, and quite a few found us through word of mouth from friends and neighbours along the coast.

What Your Dog Can Expect

Qualco has been a family-run kennels since 1965, and over the past 60 years we've looked after thousands of dogs. We specialise in small to medium-sized breeds, and every dog gets their own clean, secure kennel with an individual run. Daily walks are part of the routine here, so your dog will get plenty of fresh air and exercise during their stay.

We know how hard it can be to leave your dog behind when you go on holiday. That's why we focus on making every dog feel settled and comfortable from the moment they arrive. Our facilities are kept clean and secure, and there's always someone around keeping an eye on things.

Visiting Hours

We're open seven days a week. Monday to Saturday you can drop off or collect between 9am and 12:30pm, and again from 3pm to 5pm. On Sundays, we open from 10am to 12:30pm and 3pm to 5pm. If you'd like to come and have a look around before booking, just give us a ring and we'll arrange a time.
