Finding the right cattery can be tricky. Cats are creatures of habit, and you want somewhere that understands that. If you're based in Southport and need a cattery you can trust, Qualco is about 25 minutes away along the A570 through Scarisbrick. It's an easy, mostly rural drive with no motorway needed.
We regularly welcome cats from Southport, Birkdale, Ainsdale and the surrounding Sefton coast. Plenty of cat owners along the coast have made us their go-to cattery, knowing their cats will be in safe hands while they're away.
Our cattery is separate from the kennels, so your cat won't be disturbed by any barking. Every cat gets their own individual accommodation in a quiet, spacious environment designed to keep them relaxed. We welcome cats of all breeds and ages, and we're happy to accommodate any special dietary needs or medication routines.
We've been looking after cats here since 1965, and we understand that each one has their own personality. Some like a fuss, others prefer to be left in peace. We take the time to get to know every cat and make sure they're comfortable throughout their stay.
You can drop off and collect your cat seven days a week. Our hours are 9am to 12:30pm and 3pm to 5pm Monday to Saturday, with slightly later opening on Sundays from 10am. If you'd like to see the cattery before booking, give us a call and we'll happily show you around.
Alongside Southport, we care for cats from all over the area. Owners travel from Formby, Crosby, Ormskirk, Burscough and beyond. Our rural setting in Lathom means a peaceful environment for your cat, away from busy roads and noise.
