Finding the right cattery for your cat can feel like a big decision, and we understand that. Qualco Cattery is tucked away in the quiet countryside of Lathom, near Ormskirk, and it's only around 25 minutes from Chorley. The route along the A5209 and M6 corridor is easy going, so drop-off and pick-up couldn't be simpler.
We regularly welcome cats from Chorley, Adlington, Coppull and the surrounding villages. Cat owners in the area often tell us they're relieved to find a cattery that genuinely puts their cat's comfort first, and that's exactly what we aim to do.
Cats are creatures of habit, and a change of surroundings can be unsettling for them. That's why our cattery is designed with calm and quiet in mind. Each cat has their own individual, spacious accommodation, well away from any noise. There's no rushing around or overcrowding here. It's a peaceful place where your cat can relax, eat well and feel safe.
We've been caring for cats since 1965, and that experience shows in the little things: the way we settle nervous cats in gently, the attention we pay to each cat's routine and preferences, and the clean, warm environment we maintain every single day. All cats are welcome, regardless of breed, age or temperament.
We're open seven days a week. Monday to Saturday you can drop off or collect between 9am and 12:30pm or 3pm and 5pm. On Sundays, we're open from 10am to 12:30pm and 3pm to 5pm.
Whether you're in Chorley itself, out towards Adlington, or over in Coppull and Eccleston, our cattery is an easy drive from anywhere in the area. We also welcome cats from Standish, Heath Charnock and the villages along the A5209.
